2012 Prize

2012 Finalists

42 sculptures were chosen out of a total of 494 entries by our preselection judges Guido Belgiorno-Nettis AM (Trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW and Director of the Transfield Foundation) and Natalie Wilson (Assistant Curator of Australian Art at the Art Gallery of NSW). Joining the judging for the final round will be Professor Janice Reid AM (Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney and Trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW).

Prizes

Prizes for the 2012 award total $13,000 and include:

  • The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize, an acquisitive award of $10,000
  • The Special Commendation, a non-acquisitive award of $2,000
  • The Viewers' Choice, a non-acquisitive award of $1,000
