Peg in Space - after Brancusi is a work developed from a maquette constructed from three common objects: a wooden cotton reel, a golf tee and a wooden 'dolly' peg. The enlarged sculpture recalls the simplified forms of Brancusi's masterpiece Bird in Space while retaining the honesty of the original found objects.
