My work seeks to focus on all human impacts that lead to coral death. Coral can be classified into one of the animals that are easily damaged with human impacts, the result of such phenomenon as climate change.
I made the dead sea creatures, like bleached corals, out of fragile pure white porcelain. The sea and sea creatures to me are both very erotic, and very connected to the unconscious and the spiritual. These images are also linked to the collective unconscious. I am creating this surrealistically with the theme of Eros and Death.
