These two crude cartoon style philosophers have been brought together by a very basic artist's instrument or tool - the pencil. Rendered in classic bust style sculptural form, with the shared object (pencil) stabbed into their brains, the pair appear to be in conversation with one another. What this discussion may be about is the focus of this work, the absence of their voice.
