My work references the traditions of abstraction, particularly hard-edged minimalism, such as op art and design, while looking firmly into the future.
Concept 101 plays on digital light technologies and its abundance in our everyday lives. I'm intrigued by the way the light emitted from our flat screen televisions, computer screens and mobile devices now illuminate our homes. All that light is generated by information – code – and it is all around us. I'm interested in what this information would look like if you were to give it a physical presence.
