Often working on a small scale to create a sense of intimacy, Williams' series of sculptured objects are a unique depiction of the modern industrial world and everyday domestic objects. Bulbous in form, the intensely physical construction of his soft sculptures is juxtaposed with the more metaphysical concept of the factory-built 'machine'.
