In Dreams are made of this, I have created snow domes that satirise our desire for home ownership while questioning the excessive consumption in our contemporary society. All this is occurring at a time when we should be taking action to minimize our ecological footprint. There is nothing humble or welcoming about the dwellings that have proliferated in our urban sprawl, yet they are rapidly becoming the 21st century's version of the great Australian dream. Australia currently leads the world in constructing needlessly large houses.
