Soap Studies is a series of whittled soap tablets I created while on public transport. Each is a response to or observation of this environment at a particular time and day. I am interested in finding different ways to utilise my time while in seemingly rigorous public spaces, such as commuting to and from the city. Grouped together Soap Studies documents commuters, architectural angles and objects found within this space in an attempt to reconsider notions of a mundane daily ritual.
