I have always been fascinated by the sculptural elements within architecture. Especially the window and all it represents - both framing the interior and exterior. The window creates intrigue and then continues to change the perception of the work with each step around it. The work plays with visual illusion as the viewer deciphers its form and the surface. The Perspex, light and black steel play off each other consequently giving a super imposed sense when combined with the sharp lines of the work.
