I am interested in how drawing can physically occupy the spaces we inhabit. I think of drawing in both two and three dimensional terms, as something which can occupy space, generate place, as well as being representational of it. I am interested in concepts of place and its effects on our sense of self. Place being somewhere we travel to as well as something we carry with us from one geographical location to another. These works look at architecture as a signifier of place, as a means of investigating the perceptual frameworks we use to identify ourselves within particular environments.
