The origins of this work lie in ubiquitous, yet normally unnoticed, plastic fruit and vegetable nets. Through stripping, sewing and reworking, I have transformed items of absolute ordinariness into a seemingly fragile piece. The resulting work has a new and unrelated existence far removed from its humble beginnings.
