The objects created for Sweet Talk have a definite fetishistic quality, created with pins, rubber, plastic and plaster; they form a fantastic botanical landscape. Are they fragrant or foul? Unlike much of my work, where scent is infused directly into the material, Sweet Talk relies on the evocation of scent. I hope to immerse the visitor in a fantastic botanical world where pungent corpse flowers sit alongside fragrant roses and lilacs, their virtual scents mingling in an intoxication mix of foul and fragrant.
