Agreement (iTunes 11.0.4) is a plastic covenant for a technocratic society. Simultaneously transparent and opaque, the crystal tablets encase visible, yet untouchable commandments for everyone who has ever clicked to agree.
The legal bond issued by the creator is reciprocated by the faith of the consumer, who agrees without reading (and in any case, unable to understand) the contract. No priest, imam or rabbi can counsel us here: any doubt will have to be referred to a lawyer.
We may have killed God a century ago, but we have instituted a new group of faiths by submitting to Google, Apple and Microsoft; the new deities of our society.
