This work is a play on the fine line between kitch, folk and an accepted idiom. The sense of space and time is an important result with a heavy emphasis on the homemade. The use of clay has a directness with the hand resulting in a very tangible product.

Peter was born in Murwillumbah and has been exhibiting both in Australia and overseas since the mid 1980s. His works can be found in galleries in Canberra, Melbourne and London.
