Shadow Mist is inspired by the Australian landscape, its delicate poetic playful shapes, graphic textures and raw natural array of tones, the whimsical intricacy of bush flora, against the harsh dry rugged landscape. These unusual forms that inspire, patterns that bring an overwhelming beauty and complexity that nature can only produce. Shadow Mist brings the striking texture, intricate delicate shapes and raw bush tones, creating playful shadows and ghost like mystical magical tones. It is a celebration of our inspiring Australian bush and its vastness striking beauty in a mystical sacred spiritual landscape.
Tracey Deep is a sculptor and installation artist. She uses organic and industrial recycled materials for her work. Tracey is inspired by nature and her plant sculptures could be manifested as a living sculptures with Indigenous flora. Her design process is sourcing the material and drawing inspiration from the material which over time evolves into a sculpture or installation. She is passionate about sourcing found objects and totally transforming the piece into something different from its original form and use.
