Battery Hens juxtaposes food production technology and the natural world. As new technologies propel us further into the future we have to find ways to adapt and evolve at a much faster rate than natural evolutionary change permits. The evolution of the species can never keep pace with technology.
My work looks towards the future advancements in a humorous way, as starkly contrasted by the often brutal reality of our current automated food industry.
