My work is a reflection on the mutuality, which exists between our sense of self and our relationship to forms and spaces. I'm fundamentally aware that the things we make incarnate the stories of the maker and show us who we are. Critical to this research is a reflection on our desire, need and the ways with which we tell stories.
I'm fascinated by the ways forms begin to incarnate stories and stories appear to resonate within forms. Identity moves from a concept seeking completion to a dynamic relationship between ourselves and place. This work plays with lyrics from a song of Leonard Cohen.
