This constructed 'monstre' is a physical manifestation of the psychological boltholes we build for ourselves and the escape tunnels we use to reach them. It is a hybrid fabrication of a subliminal world, a world assembled from the in-between, the twilight spaces, and cobbled together with bits and pieces of reality. It is a mongrel mix of art, human, animal and other, a native inhabitant of a landscape in limbo, herded out of the shadows, blinking and exposed.
