In Roman mythology, Juno is the goddess of marriage and in Greek mythology her name is Hera (the Romans copied the Greek Gods, and just changed their names). She was married to Zeus/Jupiter, the King of the Gods.
I use a very non-traditional material for my sculptures and assemblages. Through intricate dissection and reconstruction of the plastic toys, I re-create the symmetrical detail and beauty of the human face and body into an 'other' being, like the unusual creatures from Greek mythology.
