Wona Bae's sculpture explores a broad palette of natural material from native dry woods to tropical vines. An interest in the cyclical nature inspires Wona's sculpture; simplicity and harmony are her key ideals. Her artworks focus on single origin materials and aim to redefine the perception of that substance in new and inspiring forms.
Having worked with natural materials consistently over many years in various disciplines including fashion, horticulture, floral design and sculpture, it is the beauty in organic materials that is the source of Wona's creativity.
