I Am Australia is the manifestation of my continued search for an Australian identity.
I am a third generation Australian. I have no connection to the old countries that my ancestors came from. I have no Australian Indigenous heritage yet I feel a strong connection to the land.
In personifying Australia it looks to the stars. The sculpture is androgynous and without race. A mix of the beautiful, unique and unusual flora, fauna, extremes and landscapes that make up this amazing country.
