Ruminations is a geometric interpretation of social interactions. The proximity of the geometric forms to each other simulate the shifting dynamics that take place when a group of people are having a conversation. The opposite and competing forces of the forms are complimentary – open and closed, dark and light, random and ordered. They represent robust discussions taking place often with opposing points of view. The shapes within shapes allude to our internal monologue and mindfulness as we endeavour to achieve balance and contentment in our lives. Further connections are expressed through the use of delicate inlayed lines, threading one form to the next, emulating our search for meaningful relationships and inner peace.
